Join librarians and library experts for a reflective session on how decisions made 25 years ago continue to shape library buildings today. This panel explores resiliency principles through the lens of notable projects including the Phoenix Library—the winner of an AIA/ALA Resiliency Award—and the historic Live Oak (Savannah) Carnegie Library commissioning. Panelists will discuss best practices, unforeseen challenges, and strategies for successfully living in and maintaining spaces over decades. The moderator will facilitate audience interaction to uncover how past solutions inform future resiliency in library design and operations.
