About me
Angie Ohler is Associate University Librarian for Collections and Content Strategy at the University of Minnesota Libraries, where she leads strategy and operations for collections, scholarly communication, preservation, digitization, and enterprise library systems. She also serves as the organizational lead for the Libraries' approach to artificial intelligence, representing the Libraries on the University President's AI Task Force and guiding library-wide AI strategy and initiatives. A nationally recognized library leader with more than 20 years of experience in academic libraries, she is a graduate of both the Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians and the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Leadership Fellows Program. Ohler served as President of the American Library Association's Core Division in 2024–2025 and currently serves as a member of the Fundraising and Sponsorships Committee, Chair of the Nominations Committee, and a member of the Leadership and Management Section Leadership Team, where she is helping advance inclusive leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and the reimagining of ALA's Emerging Leaders program as part of Core's upcoming 2026–2031 strategic plan.
